As a Backend Developer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and scaling the systems that power Azumuta. Working closely with our Engineering and Product teams, you’ll craft reliable APIs, optimize performance, and ensure our infrastructure grows seamlessly as we scale globally. We’re looking for a skilled problem-solver who loves clean architecture, thrives on complex challenges, and takes pride in writing code that just works — beautifully. You’re passionate about building scalable backend systems, collaborating cross-functionally, and making a tangible impact on how manufacturers work.

Founded in 2016, Azumuta is a Manufacturing SaaS scale-up providing digital solutions to factories worldwide. Our platform empowers manufacturers to digitalize processes, boost efficiency, ensure compliance, and manage quality and safety — all in one place.

What you'll do

⚙️ Enhance and Evolve Our Core – Strengthen and expand Azumuta’s REST API, design and implement backend logic, and support the continuous development of our platform’s key modules. Turn complex challenges into elegant, scalable solutions that power our users’ day-to-day success.

🧠 Think Beyond Code – Contribute strategically to the future development and direction of Azumuta. Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to shape the next generation of our platform.

🚀 Ship with Purpose – Deliver clean, maintainable, and performant code that helps us move fast without sacrificing stability.

🤝 Collaborate and Grow – Work closely with your teammates through daily standups, sprint planning, and milestone reviews to ensure smooth delivery and continuous improvement.

Job requirements

👨‍💻Experience & skills we are looking for:

  • Have excellent knowledge of Node.js, Typescript & MongoDB

  • Have awesome problem solving skills, being resourceful

  • Are familiar with GitHub

  • Are able to write quality code with automated tests

  • Are passionate about technology

  • Have a make it happen attitude and you’re able to work independently
