Job description
At Azumuta, we're building the future of connected manufacturing with our modern MES software platform—helping factories digitize operations, optimize shop floors, and empower frontline workers. As we scale across Europe and beyond, we’re looking for a Head of Sales to lead and grow our commercial engine.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll own revenue growth, build and scale a high-performing sales organization, and play a key role in shaping our go-to-market strategy.
Your Role & Responsibilities
Build and Scale a World-Class Sales Team
Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team across Belgium, the US, and future strategic markets.
Create a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous learning.
Foster collaboration across new business, account management, and partner channels.
Drive Scalable Revenue Growth
Design and implement data-driven sales strategies across mid-market and enterprise segments.
Build and refine sales processes—from outbound prospecting to deal closing and post-sale handoff.
Own forecasting, pipeline management, and sales metrics with precision.
Lead Key Deals and Strategic Accounts
Actively participate in high-value sales conversations with enterprise clients and manufacturers.
Support the team in complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and long-term negotiations.
Serve as a trusted commercial advisor, bringing market intelligence into strategic conversations.
Optimize Systems, Tools & Compensation
Define commission structures that align performance with business objectives.
Select and implement the right CRM systems, tools, and reporting dashboards.
Continuously iterate on playbooks and enablement materials for repeatable success.
Shape GTM Strategy & Cross-Functional Alignment
Introduce and enforce one common Sales methodology across the entire sales team
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align go-to-market motions.
Partner closely with the CRO and executive team to shape company strategy and product direction.
Represent the commercial function in leadership meetings.
Be Metrics-Obsessed
Establish a rigorous operating rhythm with weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets.
Define and track KPIs across the entire funnel—conversion rates, sales velocity, average deal size, CAC, quota attainment, and more.
Use data to diagnose bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
Job requirements
What We’re Looking For
10+ years in B2B SaaS sales, including 5+ years in sales leadership roles — ideally in VC-backed, scaling environments.
Proven track record of building and scaling international sales teams and driving exponential revenue growth.
Experience with complex enterprise sales, particularly in manufacturing, industrial software, MES, or related verticals.
Deep knowledge of sales processes, metrics, forecasting, and compensation design.
Passion for coaching, developing talent, and building a winning team culture.
Ability to work hands-on in key deals while maintaining a strategic view.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch, French or German is a strong plus.
Based in Belgium with willingness to travel.
